Hey Everyone,

The Maybelline fit me foundation range had been a favourite of mine a few years ago, however, when they stopped selling the version I used to buy, I soon moved onto other ranges. However, as of late I have been drawn back to this range and back to the foundation that I loved for so long. Let's check out how it went~

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Matte+Poreless | I have loved the Fit Me range for a long time now, but until recently had not tried it out as they had stopped selling the product I used most that was a foundation. However, when I was recently shopping for a new foundation and I seen this old yet now revamped favourite, I just had to pick it up. The only difference is now, that this version is more matte than the previous one I used to use but since I have combination skin, it did not really bother me and tried it out anyhow.

This Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Matte+Poreless foundation is in the shade 220, which I use for when I am tanned. It claims to be for Normal to Oily skin and create a matte and pore less look.

I found that this foundation lived up to most of its claims, it has a great mattifying power yet does not make your skin look dried out and leaves a beautiful smooth finish. The poreless look did not live up to its claim as much and did not completely smooth out my pores, however, the overall finish was so nice that I did not mind it. This foundation does oxidise a bit throughout the day I did find, so make sure you check to get the right shade match and I actually suggest going one shade lighter if you can. However, as long as you blend it down your neck well, you should be good!

I really did like the finish of this product and its matte power did last for a good couple of hours before I applied any powder. And my favourite aspect of them all had to be it did not feel like I was wearing any foundation at all and just felt super lightweight.

Overall, although this does not trump their previous formula, I do like this foundation and will continue to use it as I really like the effect it gives.
