Carbon Coco Teeth Whitening Kit | Review

Finding products to help whiten my teeth has become an essential part of my beauty regime in the last few months and so, when Carbon Coco contacted me to try out their unique whitening kit, I had to give it a try. Let's see my thoughts~

Carbon Coco Whitening Kit | This item was kindly gifted for me to try by Carbon Coco and when I first saw the product, I was already intrigued by its unique way of whitening the teeth. All I normally use is a general whitening toothpaste and never have I ever tried a powder type product to use beforehand and so, I couldn't wait to see how this creative product tested out.

In this kit, I got The Activated Charcoal Tooth Polish and The Activated Charcoal Toothpaste [and also a bamboo bristle toothbrush and case], in which are products both aimed to help whiten the teeth in a much more gentle and natural way.

Already I have seen such a major difference in my teeth and it has only been a short time since I started using this product. I didn't know what to expect from it really but I for sure was not anticipating such quick results. It claims to start seeing results within 7-14 days and that claim is true for sure.

A little info on both the products;

The Activated Charcoal Tooth Polish

Unlike the usual activated charcoal from health stores, this is made of finely milled Organic Coconut Activated Charcoal with a hint of Bentonite Clay and Lemon Myrtle.

This special formula is proven to be very gentle yet effective in detoxifying the mouth and removing stains! It has zero taste and smell.

Instructions:

Dip a wet toothbrush in the jar (just lightly coat the brush- a little goes a long way!), brush in gentle circles for 2-3 min, rinse and brush with the toothpaste.

Please use this before bedtime to give time for any residue to dislodge overnight. Results are usually seen in 7-14 days.

The Activated Charcoal Toothpaste

This is a toothpaste formula that doesn’t have fluoride. It also contains our magic ingredient: activated charcoal!

The toothpaste is black but turns into white foam while brushing, and it has a yummy minty taste.

The toothpaste is designed to protect your teeth from further staining throughout the day, so you won’t mess up your results if you love coffee and coloured drinks!

I first use the charcoal powder, which is a very fine texture and dip a little of the product onto my brush and brush the teeth for 2-3 mins. It's a super strange feeling cleaning your teeth with a powder but you really get used to it after awhile and it's no longer an issue. It has no taste and really is just like a fine powder on your teeth, except looks super crazy judging by my photo below.

After rinsing it out I use the following activated toothpaste and have been doing this routine for over a week now and the difference really surprised me at how fast it has helped whiten my teeth. I have used it each night and it's a super easy routine. The charcoal aspect is nowhere near as daunting as I expected and I have really gotten used to using it now. My teeth feel so clean after using both these products, I have really fallen in love with the finish of it all and the price is well worth it!

This is by far the best whitening product I have used so far and I can see that if I keep up the routine my teeth will be even whiter in no time, super impressed with this product and really recommend you give it a try if you want fast results like me! To add, all these products are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free too which is another amazing bonus!
