Hey Everyone,
Vinyl has slowly but surely been making a huge comeback since last year and it's such an awesome thing to see something that was such a huge part of society once [that was building a record collection] slowly comeback into the mainstream and so today, I thought I would begin a series on my blog to share my recent vinyl purchases every so often as I re-build my collection! Let's begin with some old-school throwbacks~
There is just something about vinyl music I love. Whether it be, of course, the amazing music itself or beautiful cover images. There is just something about playing music in this particular form that nothing can beat and I am so glad it's coming back from the dark depths and inspiring another generation of youth to love music outside of technology.
Echo & The Bunnymen are an artist I'm pretty sure every music junkie will either have heard of or have in their collection and if you don't, you need to list to them, now. These guys are a band I always look out for when I am scouring for new LP but they can be hard to find as they are a cult classic so I was super happy to finally find this one and add these guys to my collection.
KING are an eighties band that I don't think many people may have heard of but you really need to give this album a listen. Bittersweet is actually one of my favourite LP's ever and so, I was so happy to discover this. It's a great tribute to the era and for sure takes you back to that music time where synth was everything!
The Sex Pistols is an LP every, not only punk enthusiasts should have in their collection, but music lovers in general! These guys are the original anarchists of the generation and they project that through their music. They have to be one of my favourites in my collection that is for sure and this one I bought is a live set of their's they did and it sounds amazing. Punk forever shall live on.
This is such a great LP! I don't know what it is about the songs on here but they are super catchy and this was just a random purchase to be honest. However, I am glad I picked it up and if you spot one, I recommend you do too!
What are some of your favourite modern or old Vinyl's?
