How I Plan My Blog Posts
19.4.18
Hey Everyone,
I love to plan my blog posts before I publish them onto my blog. I find it to be the easiest way to stay on top of ideas and keep track of what needs updating etc. Let's take a look at how I plan my blog posts~
Since I now post three days a week, I find a blogging planner is really important to have, as a way to see what needs doing and track ideas. The planner I use is by Molang and it's a super cute plain white medium size diary, that I find is perfect as it's the right size to take out and about too. I use to use online calendars to schedule post ideas, however for some reason I found having a diary in person just makes me more focused and I enjoy it more being able to write ideas down. Or in reality, it's just an excuse for me to buy more stationary but you know.
How I plan my posts is, I set out some time of my day to track the next weeks posts. I basically have a brainstorm session with post ideas and so on. I like to space out my beauty, fashion and lifestyle posts so my blog each week has some diversity by choosing one idea from each category. I have a separate notepad where I constantly write down topic ideas, so I refer to that and choose an idea I'd like to cover for the week ahead, then I apply it into my actual planner.
Once I've chosen the posts for the week, I write down below each title all the things that need to be done along side, such as photo taking and what not. Then that is pretty much it and I get writing. I'm all for simplicity and I find having these two simple notebook methods are really what helps to keep me on track with my blog posts.
